The Design Process
  1. DEFINE

At the start of every project we help you identify your goals through a series of questions. This is a crucial step in order to go above and beyond your project’s expectations. Once we have a sense of the scope and boundaries of your project, we help to define maintenance plans, target end users, and make new web apps and technology available to you.

  2. ORGANIZATION

Once we understand your end goal, we help guide you in streamlining your content organization. The most important quality of a good higher education site is the ability to convey the information to the user in a clear and accessible manner. Often times, this means creating new and improved information structures and navigation. This is no small task, but don’t worry, we’re here with a list of resources and professional advice to help guide you through this step.

  3. VISUAL DEVELOPMENT

The best design transforms your content into a powerful information source with an accompanying, but not overpowering, visual appeal. It’s important to create a friendly and interesting site that keeps users engaged and comfortable with coming back for information. We’re not just repurposed IT guys getting a job done, but professional designers who want to make a site everyone can enjoy.

  4. SITE BUILD

The site build can only begin once we have a clear idea of the organization and amount of content needed on your site. One of our largest set backs is the amount of time we wait for finalized content to come in. Once we put your website into motion, gathering the new information and updates is a key role in finishing your site in a timely manner.

Once we have all the information, we strive to create clean, accessible code that conforms to web standards.

  5. REFINE

Once we have a working model of your site, it’s important to make sure the content, design, and programming all work together to produce a quality product that you can be proud of.

  6. LAUNCH

The most exciting step is revealing all our collective hard work to the world with a fresh and interesting new site.
